So Much to Do… So Little Time August 5, 2010

Hi everyone! It’s been a long time since I’ve updated in my opinion, and I’m glad I found time to do it today! I am back in my own city from New York/New Jersey and I am going to say a lot of things, so be prepared! Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
What I got at Woodbury:
I got a pair of flats. That’s all. But they’re really cute – they’re metallic silver with a thin bow at the front. According to my sister (who has it from Ralph Lauren, apparently – I’m not sure), metallics are going to be huge this fall. 🙂 So I got a pair because they were adorable and they were going to be IN. 🙂 So yeah. P.S. I got them from Aldo for $30. Cheap maybe, but whatever. 😉
My sister also got a pair of flats from Kate Spade! They were on sale, and there was a teeny stain on it. My mother complained to the person who worked there and we got another 15% off. 🙂 So it was pretty cheap for Kate Spade – only $80! 🙂 The tax in America is so cheap! With tax it was like $83, while in Canada it would’ve been around $95!
We visited some stores like Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Prada, Coach, and other places. It was really fun – I got an adorable Coach bag that I like because it’s different than the other ones! I also got a purple Coach wallet that I’m not sure I like really because it’s not a very pretty shade of purple. But oh well – I’m back in Canada. I can’t refund it now. 🙂
We visited the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and even though I’ve already seen them before it was a long time ago so we decided to visit it again. I took pictures – I WILL upload pictures when I’m not lazy and go downstairs to get the camera. So sorry – expect them in the next post, or maybe I’ll just edit this one. When we were in line to go in the boat, I got a “I ♥ NY” shirt that I love. 🙂 You can buy them here but then you feel like a fake because you actually haven’t gotten it in NY, so yeah. 🙂
We also went to the Met Museum, and it was actually really fascinating! We saved SO much money because the admissions price is really too much! My mom has a friend who lives in New Jersey who told her that we only need to pay $2 to make a ‘donation’ for each person, and we get in. INSTEAD of paying around $100. 🙂 I was really looking forward to the Greece and Roman stuff, but those were the ones that disappointed me the most. I really liked the paintings! 🙂
After that we went to Central Park, admired the scenery, and then took a taxi to Times Square. I shopped around at Sephora, got the Dior Addict Lip Glow, NARs Deep Throat Blush, and an Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner and I have no idea what the color name is, but it is a teal color. 🙂 I went to Forever21 with my sister and got a back-to-school outfit! It’s a thin, slouchy striped turquoise t-shirt dress with a cami underneath because it’s sort of see-through; a wide black belt; and a multi-colored ring. I’m wearing my silver flats that I bought with them. I really want to wear leggings underneath with it but I have no idea what color I should do! Help?
After that we visited my mom’s friend and she has a son who plays the guitar and he’s really good. He taught himself and he can do all sorts of fancy things that I have no idea what are. He can do these little notes – I really suck at describing guitar music, so I’m going to stop now.
The next day, we were off back home. That day was yesterday. For lunch I had the tastiest hot dog I have ever tasted in my whole life – it was soooooo good. 🙂 I had two, because I was starving and because it was yummy. An hour later of driving, I wanted another hot dog. LOL. 🙂
We got home surprisingly early yesterday, and I was so happy to be home! There’s no place that really beats home, in my opinion. What’s your favorite place in the entire world? Mine’s my house. 🙂
What else is there to say? Not much really. Thanks to everyone who commented and who’s my friend! Oh, and I’m glad that the whole drama thing about Samantha Nicolee and MassieXKur was resolved! There’s nothing I hate more than drama. 🙂

Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty August 1, 2010

Hi everyone! I’ve gotten a lot of views and a lot of sweet comments from y’all! I’d like to say thank you!
So Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty aren’t the only topics I’m going to cover today, because I have a lot to say. I have been internetless for quite some time now, but now I’ve got the internet! Because I’m staying at someone else’s house, my IP address will obviously be different. 🙂
So the day before yesterday I didn’t post because we were driving the whole day. In the morning we drove to Toronto, and it was too late to drive to Niagara Falls which is about an hour further away, so we decided we would go yesterday. I got some pics for y’all if you want them – but I can’t upload them now because the camera’s charging, and it’s 1:50 AM right now.
We went yesterday on the Maid of the Mist boat, and we went to the Canadian Falls (also known as the Horseshoe Falls) instead of the American ones because we were in Toronto, not New York state (I have no idea which city). After that, there’s a bridge on the river that we took to go to America. It took us one hour for traffic, and then it was supposed to take seven hours to drive to New York City. That was completely wrong.
Well, we left around 1 o’clock. By around 9, we were in New Jersey. Right now I think we’re still in New Jersey or something, because it’s not very noisy outside. I don’t know where the house we’re staying in is because we got completely lost. It took us two hours to figure out where we were by maps and the car that we have doesn’t have a GPS because usually we know where we are… but yeah.
The fun part about the car was that we can watch movies in it! I was an idiot and I only brought three, which were: Hairspray, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and the Prince of Egypt. Good movies, but you get bored of them after: a) you watch them over and over again b) you get carsick and c) you can’t even hear anything because you’re at the back.
Tomo – I mean, today – way later today we’re going to go to the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and tomorrow’s plan is the Met Museum! I’ve been to the Statue of Liberty but never the Empire State Building or the Met Museum, and I’m sure it’s going to be very interesting!
Change of plans! Okay now it’s 9:40 AM (I got kicked off the comp by my dad, LOL) and we’re going to Woodbury Common Premium Outlets for the whole day! In one word: SHOPPING. 🙂 Fun fun fun!
Now, on to more serious stuff.
There has been some drama about OMB’s newsletter. I want to let you know that I am not going to take part of it, but that was a very big insult that you should not have done. That’s practically humiliating someone publicly, which is very bad and frankly, I don’t get why that would be even considered ‘gossip’. That’s my view about it.
It sucks that I had to leave on a bad note! Oh well. 😦 Shopping’s calling me name!

Traveling and Q&A July 30, 2010

Hi everyone! Thanks for the nice comments on my last post – much appreciated! So as you can see by the title, I am going traveling! Tomorrow my BFF Jane and I are going to Toronto with my family! We’re going to see Niagara Falls and go on that boat thing. The problem is we’re driving there and it takes around 6 hours to get to Niagara Falls from here, so I don’t think we’ll be able to go on the boat ride tomorrow. I think we’re going to stay in Toronto, drive an hour to Niagara Falls the next day, and then drive back. Stay another night in Toronto, and then go to New York.
Today I went to Montreal with my family! I don’t quite know how to use the camcorder that we bought a few days ago yet, so I’m not exactly sure how to upload things from it on my computer. Anyways, we went shopping on St. Catherine’s Street, which is like a shopping mall that’s outside. It’s really cool. I bought a couple of things from Simon’s, H&M, and a few other stuff. St. Catherine’s Street does not have designer. 🙂 We went on those wagon things – in Canada we have wagons that are horses carry. I don’t know how to explain it but I hope you get the gist! 🙂

New York Brooklyn Bridge

Ahaha the song I’m listening to right now is perfect for traveling! I have to make a playlist on my iPod soon; to listen to my iPod in the car. If you want to know what song I’m listening to, it’s “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z ft. Alicia Keys but the nice part about that song is that I’m not listening to the Jay-Z version! Here’s the version I’m listening to:

It’s a good version, isn’t it? Oookayy, now it’s time for the Q&A!
Q: Are you Cass from Middle School Fashion?
A: I have been asked this a few times, but no, I am not!
Q (for you girls): Does my blog look too cluttered?
A: I have no idea because I’m asking you girls! So leave me a comment down below. By cluttered I mean that it has too many pages…
That’s all for my post today! TTYL. 🙂

Hi! Oh my GOD look! I have a crisp green apple for my header! ———–>

My header!!!

Don’t you love it?
That might’ve been totally pointless of me but that’s okay! It wasn’t totally pointless if you’re still reading this, so kudos to you if you’re still reading this (and kudos to me… for thinking of that brilliant idea to get your attention)! Picture me giving you a huge thumbs up (two thumbs up if you think I am crazily awesome)!
This is a testing post so I’m not going to make it so long because if I do, and I spend a lot of time on it, and something crashes with my Internet, than this post is lost! And I do not want that. So… I’ll get to the point.
Welcome to my blog! I’m Cassie, and… people call me Cass! Here I’ll be blogging about my life, and sometimes I’ll do beauty and fashion posts if I feel like it. So, welome! I hope you liked my first post and… bye!
Bye!
Talk to y’all later!

-Cass

P.S. I’ve tried WordPress blogging before, and I know you can change the color of the font. For some reason, I can’t switch from Visual to HTML and I’m stuck on HTML. Any help on this?

And then… DA DUM! DA DUM! WAIT FOR IT… WAIT FOR IT…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASILYNN!
If you don’t like this birthday gift (a major shoutout on my blog – my first post too!) then I don’t like you anymore. 😛 Kidding, LOL. 🙂 Go and wish her a happy birthday, girls! She’s just an awesome person! I don’t know her that well but that fact can go to Tartarus, LOL. 🙂
